Mediafly Product Update: You Asked, We Listened…

You won’t believe what we were able to build.

For the past several quarters, Mediafly has been seeing and hearing consistent themes from our customers across all of our product lines.  To recap, here are our base products and their purpose.

• SalesKit: give our sales reps customized, personalized data, and tools to help them do their jobs better
• ProReview: give us the ability to take notes (what kind of notes?), and keep improving Airship (Mediafly’s web-based content management system) to take over more workflow and admin tasks

Mediafly Product Update: What Can You Expect?

During the coming quarter, our features, product enhancements, and tutorials will be centered on giving our customers what they have been asking for. Here is a brief preview of the upcoming Mediafly Product Updates for both our apps and cloud service.

Mediafly Apps

• Notes on iOS: Users can take notes tied to specific pages or time codes. The notes are visible locally or across the organization. Notes can be emailed to other users.
• Interactives: continued refinement and specialization to address industry specific needs.
• Navigational user interfaces, initially targeted for CPG retail and field sales reps, as well as Media sales team.
• Data display for sales reps: Fully customized sales reports, configurators, commission calculators, competitive intelligence, and more are all possible.
• Better support for offline.
• Android and Windows 8 enhancements for security (double-encryption, 2-way mutually authenticated SSL), usability and features.
• Windows 8 launch for our first set of customers: DMD The Screening Room, ABC All Access, Adam Carolla – Official App, Jimmy Kimmel Live – The Official JKL App.

Mediafly Airship

• Archive: Admins can set archive/expiration date and time on items.
• Custom metadata: Admins can create custom metadata fields to attach to Items.
• Speed improvements: We’ve made lots of improvements, and have ambitious targets.
