Mediafly Webinar Speaker Highlight: Forrester Vice President & Research Director, Peter O’Neill

By Lindsey Tishgart | August 5, 2015

On September 3rd, Mediafly will be hosting a webinar you won’t want to miss, with a speaker you won’t forget! This webinar, White Glove Delivery of Your Sales Content to Bridge the Last Mile, will equip you with the knowledge you need to create personalized sales content, along with giving you insight into how marketing content should be used by your sales team.

As a precursor to this webinar, we wanted to highlight our guest speaker, Forrester Vice President & Research Director, Peter O’Neill.

Peter O’Neill leads Forrester’s research and advisory for B2B marketing and sales enablement professionals. He manages a group of analysts focused on B2B marketing as well as sales people development in the age of the customer. He is a 32-year veteran of the IT industry and has extensive experience in IT hardware, software, and services. We are honored to have him speak at our webinar!

Peter has written many blogs and reports around sales transformation. Here are 3 of our favorite pieces of content:

  1. [REPORT] Valuable Message Development For B2B Marketing In The Context of Sales Enablement

Before you distribute your content, you must first create amazingly valuable content. And to do that, you need to know your buyers’ varying needs across their whole journey. In B2B, both marketing content and selling content is a part of the overall message to buyers. After you understand what that message is to your buyers, you can move on to how to best create content for them. However, you shouldn’t churn out too much content and clog your pipeline.

  1. [BLOG] We’ve Hit The B2B Marketing Ground Running

In spring of this year, Forrester moved from a focus on sales enablement research, to B2B marketing. At Mediafly, we were excited to see what great reports would come out of this change. In this blog, Peter explains what this pivot accomplished and shares all of the awesome content that was completed after they made the change.

This recap blog will give you a quick and convenient overview of these topics before you listen to Peter’s in-depth webinar on Sept 3rd.

  1. [REPORT] Manage Your Sales Enablement Charter Or Run Into A Perfect Storm

This report looks at how sales enablement functions must span across multiple departments to be successful. When sales enablement is knocked out of alignment from the rest of the company, it can lead to what Peter calls a “Perfect Storm.” This perfect storm will lead to sales enablement becoming rogue, random and redundant.

We hope you can join our webinar on September 3rd!
