Airship Features: Move, Cut, Paste and Reorder

The number one feature request in early versions of Airship was the ability to move, cut, paste, and reorder items and folders.  After several iterations, we built a fantastic way for users to accomplish these complex tasks extremely easily and intuitively. This is our Airship Features: Move, Cut, Paste, and Reorder product overview.

Reorder and move with drag and drop

Simply drag a portion of the item (the image is usually a good place to drag)…

and either drop it into a folder to quickly move it into the folder…

or move it between items to reorder.

Cut and paste

Select one or more items…

Choose “cut” from the toolbar.

Notice how the top bar changes to “paste” and tells you how many were cut.

Go into the destination folder, and choose “paste” from the toolbar.  Your items are moved to the new folder.
