Revenue enablement and revenue intelligence leader promotes Jodie Jansen to chief customer officer, appoints James Davison as chief product officer and Marc Fields as chief sales officer
CHICAGO — April 12, 2022 — Mediafly, a leader in revenue enablement and revenue intelligence, today announced the appointment of James Davison as chief product officer, Marc Fields as chief sales officer and Jodie Jansen as chief customer officer. These additions come as the company continues to see rapid growth and momentum, including market-leading customer retention, recent acquisitions, significant team expansion and the unveiling of its industry-leading Revenue360 platform.
Over the past 18 months, Mediafly acquired visual communications provider Presentify and leading revenue intelligence platform InsightSquared, more than doubled its staff size, raised more than $35 million from investors, and unveiled the most complete revenue enablement platform in the market. The Revenue360 suite combines four powerful solutions connecting sales enablement, revenue intelligence, value selling and buyer engagement to give revenue teams the insights and tools to reduce friction across the buyer’s journey while boosting engagement, seller productivity and net retention rates.
“Jodie, Marc, and James are proven leaders who have quickly become integral parts of our growth and vision. Their deep expertise in sales, customer success and product innovation is already delivering as we scale the team, increase our market share and bring even more opportunities to our customers,” said Carson Conant, CEO and co-founder. “The Revenue Enablement space is evolving quickly and we have a tremendous opportunity to accelerate our mission and execute on our vision to be the revenue command center for B2B team’s around the world.”
The three appointments to Mediafly’s executive team represent more than 60 years of combined experience in enterprise software sales and development:
James Davison, chief product officer
Davison leads the product team at Mediafly where he is focused on developing intelligent tools that improve predictability and execution for revenue teams. He is an experienced product leader with nearly 20 years of expertise in bringing products from concept to launch to scale. A designer of industry-leading B2B enterprise products, Davison spent three years as chief product officer at InsightSquared, before joining the Mediafly team through the recent acquisition. He previously led product teams at IBM, SailPoint (pre-IPO), Olono (founder to acquisition), and InsightSquared (acquired).
Marc Fields, chief sales officer
Fields oversees Mediafly’s sales efforts, working closely with the marketing and customer success teams to ensure continuous growth. Previously, he ran sales and customer success teams at fast-growing enterprise software companies ranging from infrastructure to Martech. Fields more than tripled the size of his sales teams at TaxStream and Splash while leading the way for Series B and C funding at the latter. Before joining Mediafly, Fields doubled revenue growth at Yellowbrick Data in just over a year as its vice president of sales and sales development.
Jodie Jansen, chief customer officer
As chief customer officer, Jansen focuses on addressing customers’ needs post-sale to ensure customer delight, retention and growth. She is responsible for customer implementation and onboarding, customer success and technical support teams. Jansen is passionate about building relationships across various levels of the customer organization to understand the evolving needs of customers and how Mediafly can help them grow throughout their sales enablement journeys. The appointment to chief customer officer marks Jansen’s second promotion with Mediafly in less than 18 months. She began as the SVP of customer experience and has revolutionized the company’s approach to post-sales enablement and customer success.
