Mediafly’s CTO joins a panel of experts to discuss reliability and security at the NAB Show®

By Lindsey Tishgart | April 3, 2014

Chicago, IL April 1, 2014 Mediafly Chief Technology Officer Jason Shah will share his expertise on the reliability and security of cloud computing at this year’s National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show to be held April 5-10, 2014 in Las Vegas. Shah will serve as a panel speaker during the Cloud Concerns Part II: Reliability and Cloud Security session on Wednesday, April 9 during the NAB Show, the world’s largest electronic media show covering filmed entertainment and the development, management and delivery of content across all mediums.

This expert panel will address the remaining pitfalls that cause producers and distributors to resist migrating to the cloud due to heightened concerns around the secure exchange of media. Offsetting these concerns is the need for reliable access to content regardless of whether one is online or offline. The panel will tackle both these topics in hopes of helping the audience better understand how these obstacles are being overcome with ongoing advancements in technology offerings. Shah will share his first-hand experiences as Mediafly has partnered with three of the four major broadcast networks, as well as several motion picture studios, to address these issues with the capabilities of Mediafly’s ProReview technology.

Shah joined Mediafly in May 2010 and oversees all product management, engineering, and services. His duties include product management, platform and integration engineering, customer delivery, and product marketing. Shah brings a strong background in client engagement and software product management, with experience from Neuros Technology, Bain & Company, and Trilogy Software.
