This month, Mediafly launched the first of many apps for Internet connected TVs via the Yahoo Connected TV platform. The first app is Mediafly’s app for the popular TWiT (This Week in Tech) network. The TWiT app is currently the #1 Featured app on Samsung connected TVs (shown below).
The Yahoo Connected TV platform powers more than 4 million connected TV brands such as Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio and is growing rapidly. Mediafly will be launching dozens of apps in the coming months which are optimized for connected TVs.
