Mediafly is excited to be partnering with Appirio and Medallia to bring a one-of-a-kind destination to Dreamforce 2016: The Girls’ Lounge! The lounge will serve as a place for women to connect, collaborate and empower each other, and discuss the importance of equality in the workplace—something that Salesforce is including as a core value for their company.
Shelly Zalis, former CEO of Ipos (a global market research firm) accidentally founded the Girls Lounge almost four years ago when she hastily arranged a gathering spot for women at the International Consumer Electronics Show. It was that moment at CES that the Girls’ Lounge became a movement.
The Girls’ Lounge is an environment that fosters new ideas and sparks action around diversity and leadership while creating a new culture for tomorrow’s leaders. We believe the more we advocate for one another and embrace what makes women different – the better business and life will become.
