Nielsen CoNEXTions: Four things to Look Forward to at the Event

Nielsen’s CoNEXTions is coming to Los Angeles this week – June 26th-28th – at the J.W. Marriott Hotel. This event is key for marketers and sellers in the CPG and retail space and is not one to be missed. As a Nielsen Connected Partner, Mediafly will be participating at this year’s event to help attendees better understand how they can implement Evolved Selling™ within their organization.

Here are four things you should know about the first annual CoNEXTions conference:



This year’s CoNEXTion’s theme is “What’s Next”, putting into focus how technology is transforming consumer’s habits and what brands need to do to keep up. The conference’s general sessions will focus on a wide variety of topics that range from emerging media platforms, the complexities of connecting with consumers through digital marketing, and how retail is shifting to an omnichannel model.


Learning Labs

The event’s general sessions are a great way to get a general sense of what is going on in the industry, but the learning labs will give you a more in-depth look at specific areas of opportunity or growth. Labs such as “How to Innovate Smarter Without Sacrificing Speed” and “Pricing for Profit at Retail” are perfect for getting more specific information in your area of specialty.



This year’s event holds a great lineup of speakers, which includes Joanne Harris VP of North America Sales at Procter and Gamble, and Deanie Elsner, President of US Snacks at Kellogg. From touching on the impact of technology in the CPG space to understanding consumers’ behavior, this is a great way to learn about the expertise from industry leaders.

If you need a break from the events of the day, Los Angeles has plenty of things to do to keep you busy in and around the area of the event. L.A.
