RE/MAX

About REMAX

RE/MAX sells more real estate worldwide than any other company with over 80,000 agents in 78 countries.  They boast the most extensive and sophisticated training offering in their industry and leverage their online and broadcast capabilities as a differentiator in recruiting, developing, and retaining top agent talent.   Until recently RE/MAX utilized a satellite-based corporate TV channel to deliver broadcast training to the offices and homes of their brokers and agents.  This was supplemented with a web based on-demand offering of a limited subset of the broadcast content.  The solution was generally successful, but costly, and broadcasted content required their users to be available based on the broadcast schedule.

What RE/MAX Needed

In the summer of 2009 RE/MAX began looking for alternatives to their satellite system.  Their team was focused on reducing costs and improving access to the large library of video content they were producing.  After investigating several options they selected Mediafly Inc. to deliver complete platform for video distribution across set-top, desktop and mobile devices.

What Mediafly did

Mediafly delivered a deeply integrated, highly secure solution for Roku that spanned the breadth of the Mediafly system: content management, transcoding, organization, device applications, embedded web-based players, and Live events.  This includes:

  • Branded applications on iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry, Roku, Popbox, Boxee, and more
  • Branded web players integrated with RE/MAX Mainstreet intranet, public-facing RE/MAX properties, and third-party regional sites
  • Support for and management of Live Streaming events
  • Access to Mediafly Publisher content management system, which hosts over 4,000 videos spanning a decade
  • User-level analytics and reporting

This educational advancement will revolutionize the way organizations train their employees.
