BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) is a global leader of products and instruments used for diagnosing infectious diseases. BD Diagnostics worked with Mediafly to enable BD's sales force to fully embrace the power of the iPad as a sales enablement tool. With Mediafly, BD's sales reps can beautifully and securely present to physicians and clinical staff at the point of message.
What BD Needed
Physicians and clinical staff are hard to reach. For BD Diagnostic's sales teams, delivering their message in the most engaging way possible is critical to success. Lugging out a laptop to show a video is not effective, and carrying around an armful of documents is expensive and wasteful.
Further complicating matters is that maintaining compliance with FDA regulations is expensive and challenging. As regulations change and the FDA provides guidance on product marketing and sales, material must be updated quickly.
BD was looking for an innovative way to communicate product benefits and marketing messages, show videos, consult pricing sheets, email documents to customers, and increase compliance, all at the point of contact.
