On his final appearance with TJ Rives on XMSN This Morning, Coach Barry Switzer talks about the weekend that was in the NFL playoffs. He credits the New York Giants victory to them taking a quick 7-0 lead, and to the pressure their defense was able to put on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. He shared his two cents on Cowboys owner Jerry Jones making his way to the sideline late in the game, claiming that is just who Jerry Jones is; he genuinely cares and wants to be there with the team in victory or defeat. Switzer raves at the fact that the San Diego Chargers were able to knock off the Indianapolis Colts and did so with numerous backup players thrust into action due to injuries. He marvels at Green Bay running back and former practice squad player Ryan Grant’s 201 yard performance in the Packers win over Seattle. Coach breaks down the New England Patriots victory over Jacksonville and gives praises to Tom Brady, stating he sees no team left in the playoffs that have the ability to stop them.

Today XM's Coach Barry Switzer talks for the final time on the BCS Championship game between LSU and Ohio State. He says LSU is far superior athletically to OSU and that the better team won the game. Coach makes some NFL playoff predictions and says that New England has looked unstoppable this season and because they can stop the run, they should beat Jacksonville. He shares his opinion of the Indianapolis Colts being completely under the radar. Never before has the reigning Super Bowl champion been such an afterthought. He says he does not understand all the publicity surrounding Terrell Owens and whether or not he will play considering the fact that he practiced yesterday. If you practice….you play. Concerning the Giants and Cowboys game he says both team will be incredibly prepared for one another as this is the third time they are playing one another this season. The Seattle and Green Bay he says is a toss up but is intrigued by the Brett Favre vs. Mike Holmgren matchup.
