***NOTICE: I am trying a new format for these videos, Quicktime Format. Please alert me of any issues? Thanks! Also, this Episode comes perilously on the heels of Episode 157. Seriously, a few of you were asking for more!? Get help.
We got lots more, though, you’ll be very glad to know:-)
Here we go again, Wes and I, tackling some more “war horses” of the Trombone Duet literature and cracking each other up……enjoy!
This is a big file, might work better if you download it first.

Remember Wes Funderburk, everybody!? Of course, he’s not one you forget too easily!!
It’s been far too long….so we caught up yesterday and did some duets for y’all.
Nothing too fancy, it is what it is. In this episode, we play some Shuebruk, Uber, and Urbie Green(?) duets.
More to come…..hope you laugh a little. I think [...]

This is the Preface from both books of Duets by Richard Shuebruk (Episodes 151a and 151b)
Originally published in 1920, I find this text almost poetic in its succinct beauty…..especially the admonition about “power signs” and “playing noisily”. HaHa! Nothing new under the sun, I suppose!
I’m going to print this out and hang it in my [...]

I caught a big Google fish the other day and I want to share it with you. These are 2 books of Duets published in [...]

It is my pleasure to introduce you to two very classy gents in this episode. Many of you already know all about Larry O’Brien, I am sure. He’s been leading the Glenn Miller Orchestra since 1988. He has been on the road with his trombone since 1955. (That is NOT a typo, my friends.)
