February brings the cold midwinter and the promise of lengthening days to most of the northern Hemisphere, but it is also when romance blossoms in the snow and in the season of St. Valentine. This month's edition celebrates St. Valentine's day with love songs both timeless and contemporary from Wild Carrot, the Unfortunate Rakes, Madeline MacNeil, Debra Cowan, Keith and Joan Pitzer, Randy Barrett, and an In Their Own Words segment from Andrew McKnight, introducing his song "Shenandoah Moon" from his 1998 release, "Where This River Runs". This edition is hosted by the lovely Pam Temple, who with her husband, Spencer Funk, form the American Roots duo Wild Carrot.
