Content can be "tagged" by the podcast publisher and the user community. You as a user can add/remove your own tags or classify community tags as either Amplified, Muted, or Inappropriate as indicated below.
Amplify (Amped tags):
By "Amplifying" a tag you are affirming that a tag is an accurate description of the item that is tagged. You can remove un-amp a tag therefore removing your affirmation at any time.
Mute (Muted tags):
You can "Mute" any tag that you don't agree should be applied to the tagged item. When you mute a tag it does two things: First, it no longer applies that tag to that item for you as an individual. Second, if enough users Mute a given tag our system will stop considering this a valid tag to apply to the community.
Inappropriate:
You may come across tags that you feel are totally inappropriate and irrelevant for a given item. In that instance, you can flag that tag as "Inappropriate."
Neutral:
The default state for a community tag is Neutral. This means that you have not classified any opinion on that tag.
Note:
A tag can only exist in one of the above states at any time. If you apply a state change to any tag, you can return the tag to Neutral or you can re-classify the tag to a different state. You can do this as often as you like.
